Seventh District Tee-Ball Program

- Coaches Meetings (Week of March 20th)
- Fields open for Practice Wednesday April 1st (7th District)
- Opening Day for all teams Saturday Saturday April 21st (7th District)
- First Regular Season Games begin Monday April 23rd (All School locations)
- Saturday June 16th (End of Season)
- All Games and Practices are at 7th District Elementary
The Tee-Ball Program is a non-competitive program for children ages 4 thru 6 years old. The participants will learn basic skills, fundamentals of the game, and principles of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
The "rules” of Tee-Ball are quite different from those of baseball and softball. While Tee-Ball is intended to be instructional, this is not its sole purpose. The program is an introduction to baseball and softball. Skills will be introduced, but not mastered.
Focus will be on team play, playing fair, and good sportsmanship.
“Play is the glue that makes learning stick”, and Tee-Ball is very much about play and, we hope, fun. Everyone is a winner, and hopefully everyone leaves with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
All players will be provide Team "Minor League" hats and shirts.
Each player only needs a glove. All other qequipment is provided. Players do not need cleats or baseball pants. However, most children have gray baseball pants as it helps the "feel" like a Baseball player.
