Radio Control Modelers of Baltimore
Open all year, weather permitting.
We fly radio controlled airplanes and helicopters that are gasoline powered, glow fueled, or electric. We teach students from age 9 through adults. We even have some flyers through age 86. Membership is required through AMA (Aviation Modelers Association) and RCMB. This includes liability insurance, which is required by Baltimore County Parks and Recreation.
Come to the field and get a free, hands on, flying experience with one of our club instructors and trainers, using the buddy box, so an experienced flyer also has the controls. Everyone is also welcome to come and watch the flying anytime.
